I've been in limbo of a book contract for the past few weeks. We finally worked everything out today. Even though I wasn't successful in negotiating for more money with this company in the past, I actually got them to agree to what I asked for this time! I'm so glad. I think it might have something to do with the fact that their deadline is now only a few weeks away and it's either me or nothin'. Time is definitely on my side. I'd like to think that I had some good arguments for my case too. Now hopefully I can whip out some awesome work to prove I'm worth what I asked for!

Sometimes I know what I'm doing
