Tax Time Again

I'm sure no one remembers, but last year I wrote a blog and said how proud I was of myself for doing our taxes and thanks to Nate for being our free accountant. It was really funny because I went to BYU's free tax help again and after my nice long wait (free tax help always has a decent size line) they finally called my name. I thought the guy helping me looked familiar, but lots of people at BYU do. I started pulling out my chaos of deductions and piles of W-2 forms, etc. with all my illustration business stuff. After seeing my paper of categories and calculations like I brought before he asked me if he did my taxes last year. What are the odds? It was Nate, the same accountant.
I even brought some milano cookies for whoever did our taxes this year because I was so grateful for the help last time, so it was really fitting that I ended up with the same guy. Unfortunately, as grateful as I was for the help, things did not turn out as great as they did last year. But what can you expect when you don't pay anything all year, right?
