For Brandon's Construction Law class he had to go and observe some cases at the courthouse. He convinced me to grab my work and bring it along to go with him. I did a little work while I was there, but I couldn't help pretending to be one of those courtroom artists that draw the people involved. I told Brandon to turn it in with his assignment. I learned that oral contracts are good for four years. Not that it is really helpful since it is hard to prove, but still, I had no idea.

I like to eat my lunch in the park next to the court house. I eat next to Gen Stonewall Jackson and his horse and watch people going in and coming out of trials. I always feel bad because people's chances never look that great.
