Expiration
Sometimes when I look at expiration dates to see if an item is going to go bad soon I am relieved that I have over a year. But then I rethink that and wonder, what did they put in this to make it last for that long when really it shouldn't? So I don't know if it's better or worse that it's not going to be rotten anytime soon. For my health, it's got to be worse. For ease in grocery shopping and keeping my kitchen from smelling bad, better.

Sometimes things have crazy long expiration dates. I was looking at something the other day that said it was good to 2011. It makes me think, I need to remember this if some apocalypse goes down.
