I feel like having a book signing means I am one step closer to being famous. I've got a ways to go, but I like the direction of things. I just got a call from Cedar Fort, who I have worked for on a few projects, and they want me to do a couple of book signings at Seagull Book. There are two on September 27th, first from 10-12 in Orem and then from 12:30-2:00 in American Fork. And another one on the 26th at the Women's Expo from 11-1. I'm trying to think if I need to do anything to prepare? Practice my signature? Read the book again? Get a haircut?

I think you should get your haircut AND dress up like the littlest Nephite. You could also get a camel suit for Brandon to wear. You would get a HUGE line of curious people stopping by if you did that! ;)
Wow! That's exciting. I think I may have to come by and buy Kennedy that book so you can sign it!
Of course your famous, you're married to me.
Todd's idea is brilliant. Camel suit and all! I think you should bring several napkins so you can doodle on them and pass them out to people in your line. Just think - EVERYTIME they see a napkin in the future, they will think of you!
If you're going to be famous you'd better get bodyguards. You never know what kind of psycho fans could show up as Seagull Book.
You should go the art-deco look. Die your hair purple and cut it so you can spike it all over the place. Then wear a flowing crinkle skirt with a plain colored tee shirt with lots of bead necklaces. I'm from Oregon you know - I KNOW about this look. Oh...and don't shave your legs. It will be AWESOME!!! I'll try to get Lauren to come down and be your stalkeratzzi.
OOh, how cool is that!! I wish that there was one up North here!
I wish I could be there for your book signing. That would be way fun. I'll have to look online to see if I can purchase the book. I'm excited to see it.
I'm so excited for you!! And I'm even more excited that I already have your autograph. It's going to be worth lots of money some day.
I just googled "The littlest Nephi" and you may be interested to know some lady wrote a nice blog about your book, BYU bookstore thinks your illustrations are beautiful, some other guy thinks the illustrations are delightful, fun, and bring a Technicolor Dreamcoat feel to the story, AND you can get your book in South Africa.
Wow...and to think I used to share a bathroom with you.
I gave this book to my nephew and one day after reading it, he got out of his bath and saw himself with the towel around his head and said, "look, I'm a Nephite". See, he also appreciated the greatness of your illustrations!
That's so awesome Rebecca! I know I only met you for like five minutes at your wedding reception, but according to my sister April, you're pretty cool. I'm going to have to pick this up next time I'm in Utah, you know, before they all sell out and become collector's additions now that you're famous and all.
Congrats!
