Even though it is after New Years I think our little 4 foot tree still has pretty good odds of being up for awhile. Two main reasons:1. we don't have many decorations in our living room and
2. we only have two places to store things, our coat closet (full) and under our bed (also full)

Going off of B-rad's comment, why don't you appropriately greet the shrubbery everytime you come home by shouting NEEEE! And then make clapping noises with half coconuts and prance around on your air-horse.
however, in your defense, the tree is still up at my house and at the office. Join the crowd. :o)

You should bring the tree home from your work and set it beside the tree at your house, only slightly higher so you can have a little path. A path a path!

I'm pretty sure the tree stayed up until March that year.
