While we were helping prepare Thanksgiving dinner at his parents house Brandon informed me that he was nervous. Nervous? I asked. What could you be nervous about? He explained that he was nervous he wouldn't be able to eat as much as he wanted to, like his stomach just wouldn't have room or something. And the funniest part was that he wasn't completely joking. He said he bets a lot of people get nervous about that. I'm skeptical. Anyone else?

Here is a trick I learned from some professional Thanksgiving Eaters. When you wake up, have a small meal like a piece of toast or some cereal. Then DO NOT EAT until Thanksgiving meal. However, drink about a gallon of water between your small meal and THE meal. This expands your tummy. Right before eating Thanksgiving, excuse yourself momentarily to relieve your water expansion liquid...then enjoy. Mmmmmmm.....
i was slightly disappointed by my lack of eating ability...i didn't even go back for seconds this time but no because i didn't want to! i understand brandon's nervousness--guys who have been known for being big eaters have a lot to live up to
I used to be a big eater, but gone are the days of eating family buckets of KFC or 99 Crab Legs in one sitting (both true stories). Eventually every guys metabolism slows down and he can just not eat as much anymore.
Its a hard adjustment, going to Arby's and ordering 3 "5 for $5" deals and then finding out that your old and can only eat about 5 of the 15.
Legend tells of a man who was an incredible eater. Perhaps one day there will come an eater again who will never slow down with age.. Gone will be the dark days of spoiled foods and and week old leftovers. All we can do is hope a big eater will be born again.
