Calvin has named his favorite basketball. He calls it "Orange". You might think he is just saying the color of the ball, but no, his orange ball that is exactly the same except it has black basketball lines is not referred to as Orange. That ball is not acceptable when looking for a ball to shoot with, only Orange will do.

Naming
Calvin has named his favorite basketball. He calls it "Orange". You might think he is just saying the color of the ball, but no, his orange ball that is exactly the same except it has black basketball lines is not referred to as Orange. That ball is not acceptable when looking for a ball to shoot with, only Orange will do.

jayden might have names for things but we wouldn't have a clue. so apparently calvin is bigger AND a better talker. lets hope jayden is a late bloomer in more than one area.;) i can't wait to get them together again. we are probably going to bless owen in boise this summer. maybe we can arrange something!

I'm pretty sure R has the same ball and just about the same attachment. When I try to sing the "Family Song" with Reuben "I love ____, he/she loves me" and I ask him who he loves he often answers "Ball!" and won't quit saying Ball and move on to say, Mama til I sing a couple rounds in Ball's honor.
