We have been looking around for a good deal on a toy box and Brandon has decided to make one for us. He says it will be really simple and then I can paint it and make it look cool. My only question is: Will Calvin still be playing with toys when this project gets finished?

Good luck! One thing I love about our toy box is the safety feature of the little pressurized arms that prop the lid when fully extended, and when pushed down, they release very slowly. No slamming my kiddo's head/fingers with the lid. You should look into getting some for your box...I think they have some in Ikea.
