Name Game

Every now & then Brandon and I will throw out names for our future children to see what each other thinks. So last night we started reading the New Testament, which has a nice genealogy list to start off with. After reading verses Matthew 1:4 & 5

4. And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
5. And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

I asked Brandon what he thought of the name Salmon. He thought for a millisecond, "Salmon Miller, hmmm, no, I don't think so....... but what about Booz?"
Good thing we're not naming children anytime soon.

Aaron and I do that too! Almost three years now and we still only have one or two names we can agree on.

I kind of like the fish names. You could do it for all of your kids like Tuna, Steelhead, Bass, and Trout. They will appreciate having a common name.

I've always liked seasonal names like April, May, or Autumn. I think you should go with October. That's an untapped resource.
