There are two large problems that face the US. (well, lots, but I'm just going to talk about 2) There are too many overweight people and we rely too much on gasoline for energy.
So a few weeks ago I decided these problems should work together. Lots of the weight comes from eating too many calories (a.k.a. energy), so the solution: take energy from people when we eat too much and use it to fuel the country. Healthier people, with transportation- yeah! I have no idea how you transfer that energy, but it's got to be possible.
The funniest thing about it, I was just watching the news and they were talking about some cattle place that uses excess fat they cut off the meat they produce to fuel the factory. They're more than half way there! Now they just have to figure out how to use that excess fat without cutting someone open. I don't know about you, but I'm willing to eat more ice cream to fuel my car.

Wow, your logic is flawless!
Bec~ well written post. Lol!
I think riding your bike works that way. No gas and you use your own calories.
I wrote the bike thing. Sorry, my coworker was on my computer and I accidently used her blog name. Anyway, like I said, bikes work that way and they are so much fun! The only problem is all the giant nasty SUVs that leave NO room on the road for you.
They get angry you are taking up two feet of the asphalt when they are taking up like ten! Oi. I almost got hit yesterday because the lady (sole passenger) in her SUV was talking on her cell phone.
The other option of course is to stop burying people and instead send them to the refinery, just like good old Boxer. It's a modest proposal.
