Whenever I'm driving around and I say to myself, "oh that's a cute house" it almost always has a hanging plant in front of it, or lots of them. I think hanging plants are the key to good looking apartments. I think I will become a hanging plant collector. I don't know if that is a common hobby or if I could join clubs for that, but if not maybe I'll just start some.
My sister Heather and I have had this theory for awhile. When we lived in our super super ghetto apartment Heather bought us a beautiful green, flowing, hanging plant that changed our living room probably 2 whole steps to. (from super super ghetto to just ghetto) Unfortunately she moved home and I was left to care for our hanging plant and I guess it needed water more than I would think of it. After months of not even sporadic watering it was clearly dead. I kept it for another few months, actually even more than that, hoping it would come back to life. (I still didn't water it though) So that was my first hanging plant experience. But I think I've learned some things from it ( like watering more than bi-monthly is helpful) and I'm ready to try this plant thing again.

by "hanging plant collector" do you mean collecting other people's plants? Because if so, you may end up in a cell. And think what a nice hanging plant would do for a place like that!
You should try getting a Chia pet. Alternatively, I could just come over to your house and take my shirt off...you wouldn't even have to water it, but I doubt your future spouse would take too kindly to that.
i think your new apartment will definitely need a hanging plant to liven things up. my grandma seriously has like 27 hanging plants at her house...fantastic
do the hanging plants liven up her apt, or your grandma?
I think a hanging plant is not only decorative but its also a great place to hide your spare key. Also, if you never water it you never have to worry about hunting for a rusty burried key. If I had a hanging plant, I think I would hide some shotgun shells (for protection) and some twinkis. Or you could hide a file and give it to someone in prison.
those are some creative plant uses. a file? like a nail file? where do you come up with this stuff?
