No, this is not a post about Brandon's favorite toy when he was 7. This is about Brandon's favorite toy NOW. Technically Calvin's toy, but if Brandon is home Calvin is lucky if he gets to play with it.
It is quite impressive that he is able to figure out how to play songs on his own. Here is a performance of "Doe a Deer". He has gradually built up his repertoire to include "Mary had a little lamb", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", "Joy to the World" and he is currently mastering "Choose the Right". To view a live performance all you have to do is drop by, no performance request is necessary.

johnny has a one up on him: he dances along with his xylophone music. maybe Brandon could add that to his performance. I think a bit of singing along would enhance the performance as well.
I love how proud Brandon is of himself when he is done. He knew he did well! Right on Brandon!!! Dazzle us with your music!
We have the same toy but I'm still on the Ode to Joy level, nothing anywhere near as complex as Doe a Dear. Brandon has given me something to aspire to.
