Last night we played Settlers with some friends after dinner. Brandon creamed us, which he was very happy about. He commented on how he has been winning everything lately, since he won a few croquet games recently as well. Of course, no one wanted to hear how he was winning everything and we started suggesting other games that we could play so he would no longer be winning in everything.
The result of this conversation was a race between Brandon and Staci from our apartment to Hogi Yogi on 9th East. It's a little over a mile and since Staci is a frequent distance runner and Brandon never goes running we thought she would win. However, we didn't calculate in the fact that Brandon had a lot of competitive energy. And his legs are twice the size of hers. He had yet another win. I couldn't believe that at 10:00 at night we were watching these two race down center street. They both felt miserable afterwards, but it was impressive that they did it. Way to be competitive and entertain the rest of us.

mmmmm....I'd run a mile for a hoagie.
I have the same problem with Aaron. I think we need to put our heads together and find a game that we can beat our husbands at. How do you beat someone who is highly intelligent and twice your size?
What about Candyland? Chutes & Ladders?
is all i can say is what a rush it was to beat brandon in croquet last night! i can't even begin to describe the feelings and emotions that were running through my body as my red crusher (as a like to call it) slammed into his orange ball and eliminated him from the game. wow.
