Tonight we are going to see Bourne Ultimatum. In preparation we watched the first 2 Bourne movies over the weekend. I liked the movies, but I wasn't really into the big car chases. (although, I'd watch more car chases than fight scenes) My opinion of a car chase is: dull. How many millions of car chases have I seen in movies in my life? What makes one more interesting than another? Yeah, maybe some exciting moves or crazy flips, but overall, cars get smashed, they drive like maniacs and sometimes they shoot at each other also. 15 seconds or less, that's what makes a good car chase. And fight scenes, 5 seconds, no blood.

I am way too realistic when I watch movies. It's a curse. I am always thinking, "There wouldn't be that much fire if they had filled up their gas tank...everyone knows those big explosions are from gas fumes...like everyone was on E at the same time...right..." Yeah, maybe I should just sit back and enjoy the shaky camera/out of focus head shots/ metal clashing. ...Relax...
I'm actually totally excited to see the last Bourne. I'm just wondering when he'll find the gospel and be Bourne Again.
becca you're crazy! the car chases in the bourne movies are the best! ok i'm sorry...you're not crazy, but quinn and i really like them. we even yelled out loud at certain parts of the movie last night. we were all pumped up and ready to start our own car chase after the movie. don't worry...we didn't.
Aaron really wants to see that movie. I would be more up for it if they hadn't killed Franca Potente. Oh well, I suppose I'll have to settle for Matt Daemon's chiseled body and a lot of glass shattering, metal crushing action instead.
Oh yeah, and I had no idea there was anything left to resolve after the first movie. People are talking about some final ending. I was oblivious that there wasn't one already. I guess I need to be more attentive in my action movie watching.
after seeing Ultimatum, I have to say the chase seen with the motorcycle was a step up. And they even had scooters in the movie. loved that.
