Deserted Island
Brandon and I just finished watching Cast Away. It brought up a discussion about which 3 items we would choose to have if we were going to be left alone on a deserted island. I chose fairly practical things like a really large swiss army knife, box of seeds for planting vegetables, and some kind of fire starting device. He chose a generator powered by pedaling, a TV, and a satellite dish. That way he can watch BYU games, and general conference. (that is exactly what he said) He is pretty certain those are the best possible choices.

Well obviously those are important things for him to have Becca. And if you two were together on the island, it'd be great. A knife to cut the veggies after they cooked over the fire, plus a tv to watch the game after dinner. And besides, the generator acts like a stationary bike thus providing exercise. Sounds like you guys got everything covered. Very funny though!
i think it boils down to the fact that women are just more practical than men.
{update!} chris and i watched cast away on tv sunday night and i asked chris the same thing you guys discussed. nothing resembling a good conversation ensued. we were both feeling pretty sorry for old chuck that he lost the girl that helped him survive
