I knew there would be a lot of things that I would learn from being married. I have to say that what I learned most recently is kind of embarrassing to admit. The other day I learned that my pink slippers are not pink, they are gray. They are so gray Brandon was shocked when I mentioned something about them being pink. Not just shocked, I think a little disgusted as well, and rightfully so. I got them as a present on my mission, they look like pink slippers your grandma would wear. (Only gray not pink, as I have now realized.) It was kind of like that story about the frog that sits in the warm water that is gradually heated up until it is boiled but he doesn't realize it happening. My slippers turned gray so gradually I thought they were still pink. I tried washing them. I think it helped.

I think you should post a picture of said slippers.
there they are. I think a before and after cleaning picture would have been better. Maybe in a few years.
maybe I should have mentioned that I consider slippers indoor and outdoor footwear (within 200ft. of the house that is)
I wonder what animal gave its life to provide for those slippers. Whatever it was, it must have been hideous; therefore, I'm glad its no longer out there roaming the wild. With any luck its extinct now. Perhaps it was a stray?
