poor unfortunate souls

When I was walking home from work today I saw the cutest kids running around on the grass. The only thing was they had beautiful light blonde hair that had been cut so horribly I couldn't help but cringe. It was more than obvious that their mom had no idea how to cut hair but decided to anyways. She took the clippers and ran it up the side of the little kids' heads to make a nice blunt bowl cut. I don't know what is so intimidating about scissors to people. We've been using them since kindergarden and they happen to work great on hair not just paper. So please everyone, when you have kids or a husband you want to cut hair for, don't give them a bowl cut. I highly reccommend using scissors. Or finding someone that will. Thank you for helping make the world a more beautiful place.

Oh Becca, that makes me laugh. In Ecuador, when all the babies in the orphanage needed haircuts (And they let them grow to the point where they were all in DESPERATE need), the nuns would literally take the bowl to their heads and cut around it. The day they got their hair cut was a sad day indeed.

Thank goodness there are those who know how to cut hair. Many complements always follow a good "bec trimming."
